1911 SILHOUETTE HAMMERS are Wire EDM’d from a choice grade of heat treated Tool Steel Billet. Each Commander Style Hammer is CNC Machined to exacting tolerances affording thousands of rounds of trouble free service. 48-50 R/C hardness requires only a final light stoning at most to achieve a crisp, clean, trigger pull. The edges of the hammer are precisely chamfered to minimize snag. The Wire EDM’d thumb notches are crisp and clean for sure handling when cocking. Standard finishes are a brushed chromed or blue. Also available in Gold and Nickel Finishes for an additional charge. As with any modification to your firearms, this product should only be installed and/or thoroughly checked by an accredited gunsmith for your own safety.
